BITA

BITA is a singer and songwriter from Granada who currently resides in Miami. Her musical influences come from a fusion of styles such as Afro-Latin jazz, soul, experimental house, and her Flamenco roots, which innately provide a touch of creativity and naturalness to the music she performs.

Through improvisation and fusion, BITA finds in electronic music a source of expression and personal inspiration, with which she manages to break down barriers between styles and musical labels. She has participated in various festivals in Europe, the United States, and Latin America and has shared the stage with important artists from the region such as Chucho Valdés, Pedrito Martínez, and Leoni Torres, for whom she composed the song “Corazón roto”.

She is currently recording her debut album, produced by Carlos Fernando López and featuring collaborations with other Latin American artists. “El Barrio,” a single released along with Leoni Torres, was written with the cities of Granada and Havana in mind and has been available since last January on all digital platforms.
