La Dimensión Latina

La Dimensión Latina is a legendary Venezuelan salsa orchestra founded in 1972 in Caracas, Venezuela. With a prolific catalog that includes 37 albums, the group has become one of the most renowned and influential salsa ensembles in Caribbean music and Latin performance culture.

Recognized for its powerful arrangements, rich choruses, and enduring impact on the genre, La Dimensión Latina was declared a Cultural Heritage of Caracas by the Libertador Municipality on June 12, 2012.
Its founding and current members — including César Monges, Elio Pacheco, Joseíto Rodríguez, José Rojas, Rodrigo Mendoza, and Wladimir Lozano — were also honored with the Orden Waraira Repano, First Class, in a memorable ceremony at the Teatro Teresa Carreño’s Sala Ríos Reina.

La Dimensión Latina’s legacy is marked by its role as a flagship of Venezuelan salsa, influencing generations of musicians and audiences with its vibrant sound and unforgettable performances.
