MAYOR TOM is the artistic project of Spanish producer, composer, and recording artist Diego Castaño. His work blends analog recording techniques with contemporary pop, rock, and Latin influences, shaping a distinctive sonic identity rooted in both tradition and experimentation. He has recorded at iconic studios such as Abbey Road Studios and works from his own facilities, Control de Tierra, where he produces, mixes, and masters his recordings. His discography includes Unfollow (2015) and ANALØGICA (2021), the latter recorded to tape, reflecting his commitment to analog sound.
Beyond his solo career, MAYOR TOM is an active producer and collaborator, working internationally. His latest album, VERANO VEGANO (2026), marks a new sonic direction, exploring Latin and tropical influences through a contemporary pop lens while maintaining his distinctive production approach.
