VANTE is a Costa Rican music project that aims to rescue and celebrate the identity of being “tico.” It achieves this, firstly, through the use of colloquial Costa Rican language, a distinctive feature of our culture, and secondly, by exploring sounds that evoke the mestizaje inherent to all Latinos. VANTE’s themes are diverse; it doesn’t limit itself to a single focus. Its essence lies in telling everyday stories inspired by the artist’s experiences, offering an authentic connection with the audience.
