This Friday, Descemer Bueno and Gente de Zona presented the single “Después que Bailamos”, a tribute to the ten years of “Bailando”, a song they released in 2014 with Enrique Iglesias and which became a global hit.
“Bailando” dominated the Billboard Hot Latin Songs chart at No. 1 for 41 weeks. It earned a nomination for Record of the Year at the Latin Grammys and won the Grammy Awards for Song of the Year, Best Urban Performance and Best Urban Song.
The commercial success of “Bailando” was further consolidated after receiving multiple certifications for its extraordinarily high sales. Furthermore, the song transcended borders after being reproduced in three different versions of its original in Spanish.
Now, “Después que Bailamos,” performed by Gente de Zona and Descemer Bueno, hopes to become the new anthem of its fans with a fusion of reggaeton and Latin pop.
Descemer Bueno is a multi-award-winning Cuban singer and composer. Gente de Zona is made up of also Cubans Alexander Delgado and Randy Malcom. After the worldwide success of “Bailando”, they placed other songs on the charts such as “La gozadera” and “Traidora”, both in collaboration with Marc Anthony.
